What Your JW Relatives May Realize
by metatron inthere's a lot of hurting manifest on this board.
i've been there, with witness relatives and friends shunning me ( more or less).. as you encounter these people, it may be easiest to kindly remind them of the near future of jehovah's witnesses:.
in ten years, the average witness will be about the same as any other religion.. .

Valis-
My point is simple: The WT is responsible for how many people's deaths due to the blood issue? And how many children have been molested? And how many families have been destroyed as a result of JW shunning? Millions? I don't the number. Honestly.
I wasn't relating the JW's to Nazis, what I was saying is this: If 5 neo-nazis died in a plane crash anyone on this board would be allowed and possibly congratulated for saying, "Yeah! The Nazis are dead!" However, since it's JW's we are speaking about, for someone to even infer that he/she is glad there are 5 less JW's in this world is somehow wrong. I realize we live in an insane politically correct society so no need to defend your reasoning, ok?
Like I stated earlier, I am not glad they are dead. Period. But I am glad that their influence will not be felt by anymore families. If my family had not been influenced by the JW's I would be living in a whole different world.
As far as racist remarks, if you will remember, in another post, an individual made vicious racist remarks about the white race. All I did was defend the white race. I did not tell him his race was evil like he did mine. Since when has it become wrong to defend the white race from racist remarks but okay to defend all non-white races from racist remarks?
My apologies to the German. May you go on in life umimpeded with your beliefs. -

Question: Do neo-fascists have the right to spread their message too? -

Skally is right. Some of the most venomous individuals I have ever encountered were JW's. I too have bantered back and forth with JW's -- in person and on chat and message boards. It is not uncommon to hear them spewing a "I can't wait until Jehovah wipes you people out" rebuttal.
I know not all JW's are like this, but then you understand that the rank and file JW will shun innocent family members, force his or hear children to die when a blood transfusion is available, and passsively support an organization that hides child rapist/molesters, I find little sympahty for their demise.
While I cannot say I am glad these JW's are dead, I will say that it we will never know how many people have been spared being snared into this organization and having their lives ruined because of this ill fated "tragedy." -

Jw's and Freemasons
by aniron ini've been going through my wt 2003 and 1995 cd-rom's looking for articles on the freemasons in any wt publication.. there doesn't seem to be much from 1950 onwards only basically passing references.. but there are 8 references from 1930 to 1958 all in the awake magazine.
which of course are not on the cd's.. does anyone know what these articles are.. especially an article in the awake 22nd march 1958 which was 4 pages long.
long shot i know.

I happen to be a Master Mason in Freemasonry and while I cannot tell you the intimate details of what goes on in our rituals, I can say without a doubt that there is no use of skulls or bones (although those are used by Knights of Columbus) and we do not invoke any spirits, good or bad. In fact, there is no worship of any sort, save for a prayer or two to God, much like what you would have before a football game or group dinner meeting. There also is no ceremonial magic practiced, nothing supernatural or occult. Witchcraft has no place in Freemasonry and there are no spells or hexes put on anyone. There is a lot of misinformation and outright lies published about Freemasons by individuals who have a grudge against the fraternal organization and that is what many individuals mistakenly run into when they research our brotherhood.
I'd love to say we have magical powers and secretly run the universe -- but it just aint so. -

Ever met high ranking JW and felt uneasy
by AlanB inthis came up in another topic and feel it needs a topic of its own.
does anyone else have experiences of meeting (cant use the word 'brothers')men from high up in the borg and felt uneasy about it.. alanb wrote.
i was at twickenham many years ago (about 20) and went to the admin area to get info about serving where the need was great (great plan that turned out to be) anyway there were two elderly yet autstere brothers standing at the steps to the main office area looking as though they owned the place, they had a real air of seniority and importance about them, i have no idea who they were, yet sense they were senior one was english the other american.. .

I for one believe this poor woman. In fact, I saw lizard people on several occasions! The last time being when I was a teenager! Me and two JW friends would get stoned in their bedroom that overlooked an overgrown weed garden in the backyard. We'd sit on old bound volumes of watchtower magazines because their dad, who was an elder, felt that since nowher in the bible does it mention chairs then it was most likely against Jehovah's divine will for our backsides to reside in worldly comfort. We had to drink out of clay cups too, made from the mud outside the window and baked in an EZ-bake oven, but that's another story. I digress... You see, at the time, we were smoking some really high grade Columbian. It was the kind of stuff that made contemplating lint on a lightbulb a deeply philosophical event. That day we were singing kingdom songs and using yellow markers to underline the answers in the next week's WT and smoking this wonderful stuff, when out of the blue my buddie's sleeping bag started to vibrate and the hair on our heads stood on end. Ina flash, the late Nathan Knorr floated down from the ceiing, right before our eyes -- arms extended and his legs bicycling wildly in the air. His fingers were long and scaly and dripped of cherry-vanilla yogurt and his suit had a reduced price tag hanging from the lapel. His hair was slicked back and smelled of Crisco and his eyes were reptillian. His tongue darted in and out of his mouth like a serpent. He was right freaky looking and I kept wondering how he could take up so little space in such a small room and, how we were going to explain away the hole this most reverent dude had made in the ceiling. Well, ol' spooky Knoor got real close to us and we could smell the fire and brimstone on his breath. He was quite a sight to behold and I admit I wanted to have a kodak moment but knew I couldnt even find the door, let alone my buddy's polaroid instamatic. So I just sat there, watching Brother Knorr hover closer and closer until, like a thundercloud in a quiet meadow, he said, "Underline only the good stuff, me buckos -- only the good stuff!" And then he grinned this horrible, grotesque grin and laughed a laugh befitting Old Hickory himself, and he was off! Back through the hole in the ceiling he went, leaving only a cloud of smoke and a smell of sulphur. That was the last time I smoked anything foreign and I even changed from yellow marker to purple. I've not seen Brother Knorr since, thank god.
